What's On: Theatre

Although 169 theatre shows are premieres of one kind or another, the bulk of the productions are of established, even classic, plays. And what a wide range there is!

Hedda Gabler The Glass Menagerie Accidental Death of an Anarchist Medea (2)
Under Milk Wood (one-man show) The Picture of Dorian Gray Spring Awakening Entertaining Mr Sloan
The Birthday Party Our Country's Good (2) Marat/Sade Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Beowulf Top Girls St Joan (in 99 minutes) American Buffalo
Iphigenia at Aulis Waiting for Godot The Crucible (2) A Doll's House
Lolita A Slight Ache Blood Wedding The Trial
The Misanthrope Amadeus Equus The Dumb Waiter
View from the Bridge The Three Sisters The Jubilee (Chekhov) The Wedding (Chekhov)
A Month in the Country La Ronde The Visit The Turn of the Screw

And many more, including lots of Godber, quite a bit of Cartwright and some Ayckbourn.

It's going to be another exciting Fringe and I'll be covering it on the About British Theatre site from the beginning. Full details of coverage will come later, but I'm looking to better last year's record of 41 shows in two weeks!
