Graft:
Tales of an Actor (Steven Berkoff)
Not an instructional manual, nor a how-to book, Graft is
fiction but anyone considering a career in acting should read
it. If it doesn't put you off, then you're dedicated enough to
get somewhere!
Hardback - £12.00 Now £10.20
Graft is also available in paperback
at £6.39 (was £7.99)

The
Complete About Acting (Peter Barkworth)
An entertaining and enjoyable book which offers a personal view
of acting and actors. It couldn't be described as an acting textbook,
but it gives a view of the profession and advice which contrasts
sharply with Graft's viewpoint.

True
and False: Heresy and Common Sense for the Actor (David
Mamet)
Every actor should read this book but not necessarily take any notice!
Mamet defends the writer and suggests the actor should do no more
than repeat his words as simply as possible. Provocative!
