Amazon is a great bookstore, but it's limited to what's in print, although it can sometimes get hold of out-of-print books. So here is our supplement to the BTG Bookshop. Here you can buy, sell or exchange out-of-print books, videos, programmes or other theatre memorabilia. This is how it works:

If you wish to sell an item, send an email to buy@britishtheatreguide.info listing the item itself, the condition it's in, the price you want for it and the cost of postage, and your email address. It may be useful to indicate where you are: something that would be a bargain to someone in the UK might become too expensive if it has to be shipped abroad.
If you wish to buy an item, send an email to the same address, saying what it is you are looking for, how much you are prepared to pay, where you are, and, of course, your email address.
If you wish to exchange an item, send an email saying what you are looking for, what you have in exchange, where you are and your email address.

By doing what is outlined in 1-3 above, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions, namely that

the British Theatre Guide will make no charge for the service offered on the Buy Sell Exchange pages
you own the item(s) for sale or exchange
you indemnify the British Theatre Guide against any legal action that may be taken in respect of any transaction that you may be involved in as a result of placing a message on the Buy Sell Exchange pages
the only partners to any sale or exchange will be you and the person or persons with whom you are dealing
the British Theatre Guide will have no involvement in or responsibility for any transactions which come about as a result of a message on the Buy Sell Exchange pages
it is the responsibility of the participants in the transaction to ensure that the goods are suitable for the purpose for which they are bought or offered for sale or exchange, that they are in the condition specified in the message placed on the Buy Sell Exchange pages and that any guarantee offered or given is between the parties to the transaction and that all parties will hold the British Theatre Guide blameless for any aspect of the transaction
the British Theatre Guide reserves the right to refuse to accept on the Buy Sell Exchange pages any offers to buy, sell or exchange at its sole discretion if it feels that the goods offered for sale or exchange are inappropriate or may involve the breaking of the law, or for any other reason whatsoever
offers for sale or exchange on the British Theatre Guide Buy Sell Exchange pages are not auctions: a price must be set and the first offer to meet that price must be accepted
if the British Theatre Guide becomes aware or is made aware that any vendor or other poster is running an auction through the Buy Sell Exchange pages the offer will immediately be removed and the offender will be barred from using the service again
the poster of the original offer to buy sell or exchange will inform the British Theatre Guide immediately a transaction is concluded so that the offer may be removed from the Buy Sell Exchange pages
the British Theatre Guide will not hold any article item or monies for participants in any transaction
any disputes about transactions or these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the laws of England
