David Chadderton
David is the BTG's man in Manchester, covering Greater Manchester and the North West. He studied theatre at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup and scriptwriting at the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd. He is Head of Education for Mainstream Theatre Arts in Manchester, for whom he writes, directs and teaches and designs courses and educational materials. His theatre-in-education plays tour regularly around primary and secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester. He also runs the Internet resources for distance learning students of Rose Bruford College. His book Practical Drama and Theatre Arts, teaching various aspects of theatre in a practical way, was published by Studymates in 2002. His book Theatre Makers, which looks at the work of major theatre practitioners through practical exercises, is due to be published in 2005 by the same publisher.
