Simon SladenSimon graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honours in German and Drama in 2009. As part of his degree he spent a year abroad teaching English and Drama in Hamburg and now works as a Drama Coach for Stagecoach Theatre Arts every Saturday. Simon joined the British Theatre Guide in 2009 before setting off to review the panto season and is currently completing a Masters in Theatre Research on casting practices in the genre, after having completed an undergraduate dissertation on the notion of tradition. Simon has had two pantomime scripts published and they have been performed by amateur companies across the UK and Europe and even as far away as Indonesia! For the last three summers Simon has run a four week bilingual drama workshop for the Fulda International Summer University in Germany and has recently provided translated subtitles for a short film entitled Erster Verlust (First Loss).
