Later in the year at Theatr Clwyd and Rhyl Pavillion's spring

Later in the summer, there are two other firsts as Theatr Clwyd’s artistic director Tamara Harvey directs for the company for the first time. Her play of choice is Much Ado About Nothing, the first time in its 40 year history that Theatr Clwyd takes on this Shakespearean comedy.

A new touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s 1980s show Tell Me On A Sunday plays Rhyl Pavilion next week.

The one-hander stars Jodie Prenger and includes a post-show talk with Prenger on 1 April, and there's more Lloyd Webber this time teamed up with lyricist Tim Rice as Joe McElderry of X Factor fame is on tour in the title role of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which plays from 5 to 9 April.

Then it is time to find those flares as Abba Mania pay tribute to Abba favourites including "Mamma Mia", "Dancing Queen" and "The Winner Takes It All", and there's a chance to go further back in musical time as The Billy Fury Years returns with its tribute to Fury's greatest hits including "Jealousy", "Forget Him" and "Halfway to Paradise".

Looking ahead, iconic band 10cc is on tour and visiting Rhyl this autumn.

Marking 40 years since the release of the album Sheet Music and its Top 10 hit "The Wall Street Shuffle", 10cc will play songs from the album for the first part of the concert and then a selection of their other hits including the no 1s "I’m Not In Love", "Dreadlock Holiday" and "Rubber Bullets".

Also visiting in October is Lee Mead who tours with his new, fourth, album Some Enchanted Evening, a collection of Hollywood musical classics including "Luck Be A Lady" from Guys and Dolls, "Almost Like Being in Love" from Brigadoon and of course "Some Enchanted Evening" from Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific.
