The index of links to amateur theatre companies (N)

Nailsea Musicals
Although parts of this site are still under construction (or were in May 2001), there is still a fair amount here: productions past, present and future, the junior section and some photographs.

Nantwich Players

NatWest Theatre Company
(Central London) Records suggest that this society goes back as far as 1876! There's a brief history of the society, of its next production (It does two a year: one musical, one straight), and of productions for the last fifty years.

Network Theatre
An amateur company based in a theatre undeneath Waterloo station. The site gives details of the company and its officials, its productions and membership. There are also details about how to hire the theatre.

New Buckenham Players
(Norfolk) Doing three productions a year. A pretty basic site, featuring future productions and selected past productions.

New Taverham Players
A company in Norwich, which produces straight plays, musicals and pantos. All the usual info, and a lot of photographs.

Next Best Thing Productions
Amateur group in Sheffield doing a repertoire which is rather different from the usual amateur fare. The site looks at the group itself, its productions and how to book.

New Venture Theatre
An amateur company based in Brighton. Details of who they are, news, their programme, their writers' group, an acting class, their youth theatre and the Sussex Playwrights' Club.

The Nods Theatre Company
(Derbyshire) Brief history and the Derbyshire Eagle (theatre) Awards. In fact, there's not a great deal here at all.

Nomad Theatre
(East Horsley, Surrey) History, plays, news, and - coming soon, they say - a virtual tour of their new theatre. There's also a members-only area (which includes the page on Actors and Designers, although you don't find that out till you try to go there!).

Nottingham Arts Theatre
Primarily an amateur theatre, but it does host some professional productions. There's a list of forthcoming productions, details about booking, access and so on, alocation map and seating plan, and details of membership. The history page is still under construction, but it does give a link to their previous site where their history can be found.

Nottingham Operatic Society
A society which began in 1893. There is a reasonably detailed and quite interesting history, details, with some reviews, of current and previous productions , a bit about NODA, and a list of patrons.

Nottingham Lace Market Theatre
Details about the theatre, its current season, booking (but not online), costume hire and news, plus a restricted members-only section. There is a reviews page but there was nothing there in early November, 2003.

Nottingham West Music and Drama Society
A society specialising in musicals. The site contains news, past shows, and how to find them (a map). No real internal navigation, so much use of the [BACK] button needed.

Nunthorpe Players
(Nr. Middlesborough, Teesside) A brief history of this amateur group on the first page, followed by details of the current production, news, the society's diary, past shows, how to join, a run-down of all the jobs involved in a production.
