Parnassus Arts Group
An Irish amateur group. This is a very newsy page, but at the time of vsiiting (April '98), it was all about 1997! The whole site seems to be aimed at members rather than outsiders.

Pately Bridge Dramatic Society
A North Yorkshire company.

Peacehaven Players
About the company, next and previous shows, how to join, pictures of members. But where is Peacehaven? All it says is that it's in the south of England.

The People's Theatre
Founded in 1911 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Some details about all aspects of what the company does - theatre, youth theatre, fine art and literature - and how to join; the season's programme in the main house, the Studio and the Gulbenkian (Fine Art) Gallery; how to book and how to get in contact.

The Peter Players

Pewsey Vale Amateur Dramatic Society
An amateur group from Wiltshire. A large number of pages: details of the society, their shows, other events, photographs, reviews, the newsletter.

Pinner Players
Details of their next productions and how to contact them, history.

Playback Productions
(Dublin) PP presents musicals. Details of their current show (with synopsis, cast and credits), a short history, a gallery of pictures, a list of the awards they've won, a long list of patrons, and details of past shows (only one at the moment, however).

Playgoers Society of Dartington Hall
(South Devon) Details of its history, its current and past productions, membership and so on.

Playhouse Theatre, Preston
"The home of amateur theatre in Preston since 1949," so the site tells us. There's a brief history, a list of future productions, ticket prices, phone numbers, how to find the place, general information and a list of the societies which use the theatre, all on one page.

Playhouse Theatre, Preston (Site 2)
An official site, as is the previous one. This covers the same areas but is much more detailed. There is also the newsletter of the Preston and District Arts Association.

Playing Up Theatre Company
The company consists of ex-professional actors, directors and technicians with over fifty years experience in theatre between them. Based in Wiltshire. Details of their shows, the founders of the company and the venus in which they play.

Poole and Parkstone Productions
An 87-year old society. Lots of details of the society, its shows, its associated choir, its new Players section and how newcomers can get involved. There's a history, a gallery (but there are a lot of photoes throughout the site, info for members, including rehearsal schedules and a copy of the current Newsletter. A nicely designed, easy to navigate site.

Portsmouth Amateur Diary
(Hampshire) Not a society, but a guide to what all the amateur companies in the Portsmouth area are doing.

Practical Magic
Practical Magic are an amateur theatre company in South Lanarkshire, who specialise in touring productions to small community venues in areas that have difficulty accessing traditional theatre spaces. The Priestley, Bradford
Formerly the Bradford Playhouse and Film Theatre, one of the major companies in the North of England. This very informative site, which is updated continually, is, in fact, unofficial but still very comprehensive.

Progress Theatre
Based in Reading - calls itself "self-governing, self-funding theatre group which operates in the voluntary sector". Has its own 99-seat theatre, two youth groups, a student group, adult acting workshop, writers’ group, and the Friends of Progress.

Proscenium
(Harrow) About the society, news (about the site, not the group), the current season, and archive of past productions and pictures, and details of the venue (called the Resources Page).
