WAWWA Musical Theatre Company
The We Are What We Are Musical Theatre Company, an amateur company
based in Cwmbran, Wales. Details of productions,lots of photographs,
the full constitution and rule and regulations, a forum and details
of the group's patrons.
Wellingborough Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society
(Northamptonshire) Just one page with very basic information.
Wellingborough Cooperative Amateur Dramatic Society
(Northants) This society began in 1950 and does two plays a year on average. A typical AmDram site, with details of productions and casts, plus the odd pic. One nice touch is a page devoted to their local pub! And it's in the Good Pub Guide!
The Wesley Players
(Upminster, Essex) The company does a panto and two other plays a
year, plus charity events. Tow pages at the moment, so there's not
a lot there as yet: there is, we are promised, more to come. (July

West Bridgford Dramatic Society
(WBDS)
(Nottingham) Remarkably the only mention of this group's productions
is an announcement of their next show on the home page. There is a
list of events covering a period of some months, as well as details
on how to find their Studio Theatre, the price of tickets and how
to contact and join them.
Westbury Park Players
Bristol. One page, very few details, except they do three shows a year and have recently received a Lottery grant for stage equipment.

Wetherby Musical Theatre Group
(Yorkshire) This site was relaunched in November 1997. It contains a few details about the society, details of forthcoming productions and how to hire costumes. There's not much on any of the pages. Their youth section is called the Really Youthful Theatre Group. Nice one! Wish I'd thought of that!

The Wilmslow Green Room
This has to be the best designed amateur site I've ever seen - in particular, a most impressive graphical front page. All the usual info is there, including a list of shows going back to the beginning of the society in 1924.
Wilmslow Guild Players
A lot of information here. Includes a photo-gallery and a list of
fifty members - the parts they've played, in what show, and when!

Amateur Operatic Society

'98). The History page is just a list of past productions. They had
Sir Malcolm Sargent as their MD in the late 20s and early 30s!

(An amateur company in Berkshire) There are details about the theatre

Woodley Light Opera Society
An amateur operatic society in Reading. There are the usual contents:
the society itself, membership, shows, photographs, and so on, together
with advice on auditioning and a rehearsal schedule for the current
show. One interesting idea that other societies might consider taking
up: they sell tickets online through PayPal using credit cards. It
is a secure server - I checked!
