1623 Theatre Company
1623 Theatre Company produce Shakespeare in non-traditional spaces, including museums and galleries, a disused quarry, gardens, and a former brewery. The site gives details of the company and its productions and workshops, how to contact them and a lot of photographs.

A Turkish theatre company based in London. Lots of details about their productions (in English and Turkish), plus their aims and objectives, and a few quotes from press articles. Interesting.

Abingdon Touring Theatre Company
A rather unusual company, set up ton give gap year students in Oxfordshire experience of touring theatre, to bring theatre to rural areas and to help schools develop their English and Drama programmes through workshops and performances. There are details about the company and its productions, news, how to book tiockets for their touring shows, and details of sponsorship and recruitment.

Producers of numerous West End and other shows such as Humble Boy, Noises Off (in New York), Pirates of Penzance and the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Details about the company, its shows, booking, news and how to contact them.

Acting Out TC
The company's aim is to "further the education and welfare of socially disadvantaged people, including those in the criminal justice system." This short page gives the company's aims and objectives and a brief history.

The company which produced the all-male Swan Lake. Lots of detail about the company, Swan Lake and its other productions.

Aesop's Touring Theatre Company
A TIE company based in Woking which tours plays and workshops specifically written and designed for Nursery, Infant and Junior age groups. The site gives derails of their performances(with photographs) and workshops, their actors and how top contact them. There is also a booking form.

Amber Theatre Company
Two pages, one with show details and a review, and the other about their contribution to the 1998 Edinburgh Fringe.

Amoeba Theatre Company
Details of the staff, their work through to December 1999, how to bbo for their shows and how to contact them, and how to become a Friend of the ATC.A very textured background breaks the text up a bit.

Apricot Theatre
A not-for-profit York-based company of young people which works in Theatre in Education as well as producing plays, touring them locally and to the Edinburgh Fringe.

ARC Theatre Ensemble
ARC plays mainly in schools but also does community workshops and corporate training, as well as presentations for conferences and so on. Co-founded by writer Clifford Oliver, they produced the anti-racist football play Ooh Ah Showab Khan!

Art Deco Murders
A murder mystery production company. The site gives full details of its productions and the various formats it can offer for a single evening up to a weekend event.

Artemis Theatre Company
Included for the sake of completeness. This page devoted to a one-woman company was last updated in 1996.

artworcs
artworcs is a not-for-profit arts production company which, the site tells us, "makes quality arts in, of and for Worcestershire". The site gives details about the organisation, its events and the workshops and courses it organises.

The Ashton Group
A small-scale professional group based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, which seems to co-operate a lot with Newcastle's Live Theatre. Details of their tours and youth and community work. Out of date in September 2002 (latest reference is to 2001) - and needs a lot of use of the [BACK] button.

Back Row Productions
A production company based in New York and London which also has strong Australian connections. They were behind the hit dance show Tap Dogs and they also introduced Eddie Izzard to the USA!

Bash Street Theatre Company
Based in Penzance, this company specialises in street entertainment, but they also play in theatres and provide "colourful walkabout characters for festivals". Company details, the latest news of what they're doing, some show details, and pictures.

Battered Suitcase Theatre Company
A semi-professional group based in Southsea, doing Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. There's a directory of the cast, one of the venues at which they play, details of four previous shows, future plans, and something about what Mystery Dinner Theatre is.

Bedlam Oz
A company specialising in "visual physical theatre", originally from Australia but now based in Stockton-on-Tees. Flash 6 is essential to see the site. It features details about the company, its shows, a media gallery of pictures and videos (big: all over 1MB), reviews, what they call downloads (technical requirements for each show) and how to contact them.
