Links to sites for or about production companies in England - page 3.

D'Oyly Carte Opera Company
There are two pages of the history of the company which, regrettably, are not easy to read: there's no white space because there's only single-spacing between paragraphs. There's a diary of events, a photo-gallery, what's available in their Music Hire Library and merchandise. You've got to keep going back to the front page to move on.

DV8 Physical Theatre
DV8 blurs the boundaries between dance and theatre and is a facsinating company to watch. This site seems initially to have only three pages - Past, the Current Production, and Present - but these branch out to more than 15 pages which give a complete picture of the company and its work.

Eastern Angles
Regional touring theatre company for East Anglia based at the John Mills Theatre in Ipswich: news and reviews, what's on, box office (secure online booking), Friends, mailing list, education.

The EJ Theatre Company
A new young company which is "dedicated to presenting challenging work by new writers who have an inspired and original view to put forward". There are details abut the company and its personnel, its first production and how to contact them. Nice design!

Emergency Exit Arts
A group which produces "celebratory events" and consists of visual artists, performers, composers, puppeteers, pyrotechnists, designers and inventors. Thre are details of all the kinds of work they do, with lots of (thumbnailed) pictures scattered throughput the site. plus a diary of coming events.

Encore Theatre Company
Based in Birmingham. Details of the company and its memebrs, and its productions.

English Touring Theatre
Details of the company's present and past productions, their education work (including an online education pack on The Caretaker), the Friends organisation, their awards and merchandise - books which are not available over the Web: you have to order by post.

Escape Artists
This company aims to use theatre to rehabilitate serving and ex-prisoners, young offenders and young people at risk. There's a basic intro, news (five pages of huge .gif images: they take a long time to download), details (including a press release) of their current production, and their diary. There are also details of talks and workshops which they offer.

The European Theatre Company
The ETC aims to provide high-quality, educational, foreign language theatre in schools, colleges, theatres and art centres throughout the United Kingdom, through a wide variety of great European theatre, both adaptations of classic works and modern plays, in their original language, and new writing in a bilingual mixture. The site gives some basic info about the company, details of past and future productions (one German, the rest French), and of their workshops, which are offered in the target language or a mixture.

Factional Productions
"New artists, new work and new ways of staging live theatre to audiences everywhere" is how this company describes its work. There are details of the company, its shows, its email newsletter and Rigor Mortis, its "alter ego" (what it calls itself when rpesenting Murder Mystery evenings).

An "interdisciplinary performance company", working on new devised performances which are mainly visual and physical, as well as installation, site-specific and multimedia shows. there's their Mission Statement, details of performances and forthcoming projects, reference material, and something on their education and outreach work.

Figment Theatre Company
Based in Holmfirth, Figment produce touring and educational theatre for a variety of clients - theatres, LEAs, businesses, schools, and libraries. Flying Pig Productions
A children's theatre company, specialising in the younger age-group. Details of the company, its personnel, news and reviews, the shows themselves and what's new. A very colourful site, but unfortunately each page is a pretty massive GIF file which is very slow to download.

Forced Entertainment
Forced Entertainment is a group of artists in Sheffield who are involved in experimental theatre, performance art and installation. There's a page of general information, details of current work, and an archive of past work, with photographs. Worth visiting if you're looking for something very different in terms of performance.

Forest Forge Theatre Company
Based in the New Forest (Ringwood, Hants). Some pages have only pictures where you'd expect text (the Staff, for instance); some pages are missing (past, present and future productions); and some are just (unchanged) online versions of a print brochure. There are too many pages which just serve as a link to another couple. Looks nice, though.

A company producing Audiobooks to order. There are details of the way it works, how they can be booked, and key personnel. There is also an online form for enquiries.

The Green Room
This Manchester-based company describes itself as offering "the best in innovative drama-based theatre and dance." When I visited the site was slightly out of date (by a month). There was nothing on the news page and the "Interact" page simply offered an email form.

Guest House Theatre
A small-scale professional company based in Stockport. Details of the company, its members, its productions and how to contact them.

Guy Masterson Productions
