The index of links to Shakespeare on the Web

About Shakespeare
The About.com Shakespeare site not only provides a lot of unique resources but also has a vast array of links to Shakespeare Internet sites.

Mr William Shakespeare and the Internet
The creator of this site has gathered together and categorised a massive list of Internet Shakespeare resources. There is some critical comment, too, which is helpful when there are so many sites to choose from. It caters for everyone from the scholar to the vaguely interested.

Surfing with the Bard
A packed site for teachers and students. There are seven "Zones" - Discussion, Plays, Students, Teachers, Review, Fun, FAQ - and each contains on-site resources and off-site links. There's a huge amount of material here, including a good number of useful lesson plans, making it a "must" for anyone involved in teaching Shakespeare - and there's lots to interest the general Shakespeare-lover, too.

An Online Guide to Shakespeare the Neologist
A short essay exploring how Shakespeare created new words and phrases that had never existed before, many of which are still in use today.
