New Theatre, Cardiff

Night Out/Noson Allan
Night Out is in initiative from ACW to help "local organisations bring professional performances into community at subsidised prices." There's a section aimed at promoters, one aimed at performers, a What's New? section and a detailed prospectus. English/Saesneg + Welsh/Cymraeg.

The Really Cuckoo Company of St Mary's

The Showcase/Sioe Gerdd Performing Arts Association
An out-of-school youth arts project based in Aberdare, Cynon Valley, South Wales, including a youth theatre group. About the group and its supporters, workshops, youth theatre, youth choir, events, news. English/Saesneg

Small World Theatre
Based in Llandygwydd, Cardigan. Pioneers of the environmental theatre movement, working mainly with puppets. English/Saesneg.

Theatr Clera
(Welshpool) A community theatre which brings in professional theatre through ACW's Night Out scheme and is also used by amateurs. It also has an art gallery which features local artists. Details of what's on, its facilities and how you can join. You need Shockwave. English/Saesneg

(Newtown, South Wales) Not an inspiring site, I'm afraid. The What's On page is out of date (Jan. 2001); there's email but not online booking, and there's a technical section which consists of lists of available equipment. Celebrating its 10th birthday! A TIE company which also does teacher INSET. Gives its history and Mission Statement. Based in Cardiff/Caerdydd. English/Saesneg.

Theatr Mwldan
An arts centre and cinema in Cardigan in West Wales. Full details of all aspects of its work as a receiving and production house, community work, history and facilities. Interestingly it began as a home for Cardigan Theatre, a local amateur drama company. English/Saesneg + Welsh/Cymraeg
