£13 ticket attraction in Manchester

The Palace Theatre and Opera House, Manchester has an autumn season of attractions, just one of which is tickets from as little as £13.

Next month sees the arrival of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical at the Palace from September 18 to November 24. Based on the book by Roald Dahl and with original songs from Tim Minchin, this award-winning musical visits Manchester as part of its first tour across the UK and Ireland.

Rocking its way into the Opera House from September 25 to 29, Rock of Ages is an LA love story with more than 25 rock anthems.

October sees the arrival of English National Ballet’s Manon to thrill ballet fans with its tale of doomed love from October 17 to 20.

Let it Be brings the music of The Beatles direct from the West End to the Opera House from October 22 to 27 with a new concert featuring 40 of The Beatles’ greatest hits.

Ian Rankin’s Rebus: Long Shadows, adapted for theatre alongside award-winning playwright Rona Munro, brings the detective series to stage for the first time from October 30 to November 3.

Kinky Boots struts into the Opera House Manchester from November 12 to December 1, a musical about friendships and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.

Benidorm Live is the stage debut of ITV’s comedy from November 26 to December 1.

For the festive season, Wicked flies back to Manchester to cast its spell at the Palace Theatre for a final time from December 4 to January 5. Over at the Opera House, Cinderella is the family pantomime for the festive season, with Coronation Street bad boys Connor McIntyre and Les Dennis as the Ugly Sisters and Gareth Gates as Prince Charming from December 8 to 30.
