The First Fringe Firsts 2008

The Scotsman has announced the first Fringe Firsts of this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

They are:

  • The New Electric Ballroom (Traverse)
  • Deep Cut (Traverse)
  • Architecting (Part One) (Traverse)
  • Stefan Golaszewski Speaks About A Girl He Once Loved (Pleasance Courtyard)
  • Tailor of Inverness (Assembly @ George Street)

To qualify for a Fringe First, awarded for high quality drama, plays must have not had more than six performances in the UK prior to the Fringe. A number are announced each Friday of the three weeks of the Fringe.
