A Musical in 48 Hours

Showtime Challenge returns to the West End for the third time in October when it presents the musical Me and My Girl at the London Palladium.

It features a 120-strong cast of professionals and amateurs who will rehearse the show in only 48 hours, for a one-night-only production on Sunday 26th October.

There will be no time for 'leaning on a lamppost' as the production of Me and My Girl goes into rehearsals on Friday 24th October at 7.30pm, and 48 hours later is performed to an audience of more than 2,000 at the London Palladium. Eyebrow's 2006 production of Sweet Charity was performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane to a sell-out audience and a standing ovation. Now back in the West End, Showtime Challenge 3 promises to be an even bigger event.

Showtime Challenges 1 and 2 saw employees from education, nursing, catering, the Ministry of Defence and investment banking joining professional performers on stage. Established artists also welcomed the chance to perform in a great venue with a crack team of directors and a professional orchestra.

Showtime Challenge donates all profits to the Anthony Nolan Trust.

The Anthony Nolan Trust runs the UK's most successful bone marrow register. Each year, thousands of people with fatal bone marrow diseases reach a stage when their only hope of survival is a bone marrow transplant from a donor who shares the same tissue type. However, 70% of patients cannot find a suitable bone marrow match within their own family and have to rely on the kindness of a stranger to provide the lifesaving marrow they urgently need. As an independent charity, the Anthony Nolan Trust continually relies on more donors coming forward and financial donations to support its lifesaving work.

Stephen Fry and Dame Judi Dench as strong supporters of the venture.

"Oh how wildly deranged you are even to try. Oh how I admire you. Oh what are you thinking of? You wild, wonderful, fond and foolish people, the very best of luck to you," said Stephen Fry

"A daring and innovative event," added Judi Dench.
