Dateline: 4th December, 2006
Acorn Antiques on Tour Victoria Wood's musical Acorn Antiques, based on the TV series, which premiered at the Theatre Royal Haymarket last year, directed by Trevor Nunn, is to tour from 11th December to early June. The cast will be led by Ria Jones as Mrs Overall and Sara Crowe as Babs, with Teddy Kempner as Clifford. Also appearing will be Lisa Peace (Berta), Kim Ismay (Bonnie), Alistair Robins (Tony), Beverly Rudd (Mimi) and Michael Melmoe (Hugh). It runs at The Lowry, Salford Quays, from 11th December to 6th January, and then goes on to High Wycombe, Cambridge, Ipswich, Brighton, Woking, Birmingham, Warwick, Liverpool, York, Preston, Leeds, Sheffield, Darlington, Richmond, Nottingham, Reading, Bournemouth, Southend and Cardiff.
