ACNI Announces Standstill Funding The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has announced that almost all of its 73 clients will receive standstill funding for the coming financial year. Only four organisations - all support agencies - will have an increase. The region's theatres and producing companies will share just over £1 between them, with over £600,000 of that going to Belfast's Lyric Theatre. The fact that Northern Ireland has the lowest per capita arts allocation from Westminster is being blamed for the situation which leaves arts organisations essentially facing a cut equal to the rate of inflation. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
