ALW in Hunt for Dorothy Andrew Lloyd Webber is to join the BBC in a new reality TV show to hunt for an actress to play Dorothy in a new production of The Wizard of Oz. "Our previous musical talent searches have provided an incredible shot in the arm for musical theatre in Britain," said Lloyd Webber, "and I can't wait to work with the BBC again in the hunt for Dorothy – an iconic role." The new programme, which will air in 2010, will be fronted by Graham Norton and auditions will begin early in the year. No judges for the programme have yet been announced, nor have any dates or venue for the production.
