Dundee Gets Half the CATS Awards
Dundee Rep took half of the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland,
judge by thirteen critics from Scotland's major newspapers.
It won
- Best Production for Scenes from an Execution
- Best Male Perfomance : John Bett for Scenes from an Execution
- Best Director : Dominic Hill for Scenes from an Execution
- Best Music : Paddy Cuneen for Twelfth Night
- Best Design : Tom Piper for Twelfth Night
Other awards went to
- Best Ensemble to the Royal Lyceum for Six
Black Candles
- Best New Play : Henry Adam for The People Next Door
(Traverse) (reviewed
on tour by Jackie Fletcher)
- Best Female Performance : Cait Davies for Those Eyes,
That Mouth at the Grid Iron Theatre Company
- Best Children's Show : Arthur, the Story of a King
