New Ministerial Responsibilities at
the DCMS
Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell has confirmed a revised list of Ministerial
responsibilities within Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Ms Jowell remains as Secretary of State and becomes Minister for Women.
She will be supported by Meg Munn MP as an unpaid Parliamentary Secretary.
Richard Caborn remains Minister for Sport, and additionally the 2012
Olympic bid, gambling and the lottery. David Lammy will take charge
of culture, and James Purnell will be Minister for broadcasting, tourism,
licensing and the creative industries.
