In Conversation With Elaine Paige
The Shaw Theatre in Euston is the venue for a series of Spotlight
On... conversations with music theatre star Elaine Paige. Each session
will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
Spotlight On... Don Black
Thursday 17th April 1-2.15pm @ The Shaw Theatre
Don Black OBE is an Oscar winning lyricist who has worked with Jule
Styne, Henry Mancini, Quincy Jones, Elmer Bernstein, Michel Legrand,
Marvin Hamlisch, Charles Aznavour, Andrew Lloyd Webber (including
Sunset Boulevard, Aspects of Love and Song &
Dance) and John Barry (Born Free, Thunderball, Diamonds
Are Forever and the musical Billy) amongst many others.
Spotlight On... Stiles & Drewe
Thursday 15th May 1-2.15pm @ The Shaw Theatre
One of Britain's most prolific songwriting teams, championed by Cameron
Mackintosh, the pair came to prominence with the musical Just So
which won the Vivian Ellis award and their musical Honk! has
been performed all over the world. Styles and Drewe contributed to
the scores for Mary Poppins and The Card and have several
new shows in production.
Spotlight On... Michael Ball
Wednesday 18th June 1-2.15pm @ The Shaw Theatre
Recording star and Britain's leading man of musical theatre, he just
won the Olivier for best actor in a musical for Hairspray.
He has starred in countless hits including Les Miserables,
Aspects Of Love and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
