Evening Standard Awards Long List
Following the precedent set last year, the Evening Standard has announced
the "long list" of nominations for its 2008 theatre awards,
prior to the short list announcement on this coming Friday.
The nominations are:

by Howard Brenton (National Theatre Lyttelton)
- Now Or Later
by Christopher Shinn (Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs)
- The Pitmen Painters
by Lee Hall (Live Theatre and National Theatre co-production)
Ned Sherrin Award for Best Musical
Sydney Edwards Award for Best Director
Best Design
Milton Shulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer
