High School Musical 2 On Stage After the success of the stage version of Disney's High School Musical, currently touring the UK to packed houses, Stage Entertainment UK in association with Disney Theatrical Productions will launch the stage version of High School Musical 2 at the Wimbledon Theatre in August. The creative team responsible for the current tour will reunite for the new show which is currently running until the beginning of January, 2010, with more dates to be added. After Wimbledon (22nd August - 5th September) , the show will go on to Plymouth Theatre Royal (Sept. 7-12), Sheffield Lyceum (Sept. 14-19), Oxford New Theatre (Sept. 21-26), Manchester Opera House (Sept. 28-Oct. 10), Brighton Centre (Oct. 15-18), Wolverhampton Grand (Oct. 20-24), Southampton Mayflower (Oct. 26-Nov. 7), Leeds Grand (Nov. 9-14), Belfast Opera House (Nov. 16-21) and Birmingham's Alexandra (Dec. 15-Jan. 2). According to Bill Taylor, CEO of Stage Entertainment UK, "This tour has been very carefully priced in such a way as to make it accessible for families to enjoy the show together. I've never known an audience reaction like that which we experience at High School Musical shows and we look forward to welcoming more people, young and old, for the second instalment."
