High School Musical 2 Tour to Finish Early According to a report on Whatsonstage.com, the national tour of High School Musical 2 is to end early on 27th February, although it had dates booked through to 29th May. The show, in Belfast this week, will run at Manchester, Birmingham, Killarney, Derry, Hull, Liverpool, Bristol, Southend and Woking and the cancelled venues are Stoke, Leicester, Edinburgh, Norwich, York, Cardiff and Sunderland. A spokesman for co-producers at Stage Entertainment told Whatsonstage.com the tour schedule had been shortened in order to end on a high and that No show is immune to the ebb and flow of the touring market. There was, at the time of writing, no mention of the premature closure on the show's website although Sunderland Empire has taken it out of its 2010 programme.
