Henry McGee

Henry McGee (1929 - 2005)

Actor Henry McGee has died at the age of 76. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's and spent the last six months in a nursing home.

He is best known for his performances in The Benny Hill Show on trelevision, in which he appeared for twenty years.

Other television work includes Doctor in the House, Last Of The Summer Wine, Z Cars, Rising Damp, The Goodies, The Saint and The Avengers, and he appeared in a number of films, notably The Italian Job, The Pink Panther, Carry on Emmanuelle and Holiday On The Buses. His stage work was mainly confined to variety, although he did appear in The Mousetrap for two weeks, joking afterwards that he was the shortest running actorn in the longest running play.
