The London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) runs this year
from 1st May to 21st June. It includes work from Australia, Cambodia,
Denmark, England, India, Lithuania, Palestine, Scotland and South Africa.

Shopworks, a site-specific pice from theatre-rites (Scotland)
in a disused shop in Tooting.
3rd - 17th May
The Museum of Modern Oddities (Australia) create a site-specific piece
in the natural History Museum (South Kensington)
19th - 21st May
Miladeh & Ramadan by Palestinian company INAD, a modern
folk story about Miladeh, a Christian Palestinian girl who befriends
a Muslim Palestinian boy, Ramadan. Playing in primary school playgrounds
in Southwark near the Elephant and Castle.
20th - 24th May
A Midummer Night's Dream directed by Oskaras Korsunovas (Lithuania)
at the Riverside Studios.
23rd - 24th May
Until When? by INAD (Palestine). A look behind the headlines.
At the Oval, Kennington.
30th - 31st May
Strange Familiars by Project Phakama, a LIFT initiative led
by young people across London, Southern Africa and India. A devised
and performed by unaccompanied refugees and asylum seekers from Africa,
the Balkans and the Middle East aged between 16 and 24 who have drawn
on their individual experience and cultures to explore their lives
in London today. At Stephenson Hall, National Children's Home, Highbury.
4th - 8th June
King Matt by TAG (Scotland). A play for children - Batersea

Dr Korczak's Example by David Greig. Another play for children
