More Guys and Dolls Casting
The Donmar Warehouse has announced further casting for its production of Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre. Joining Ewan McGregor in the cast will be Jane Krakowski as Miss Adelaide and Douglas Hodge as Nathan Detroit. Directed by Michael Grandage, the show opens on 1st June (previews from 19th May).

Two by Wade
Playwright Laura Wade will have two plays with overlapping runs during February. First up, at the Soho Theatre, will be Colder Than Here, which runs from 7th to 26th February (previews from 3rd) and then on 24th February the second, Breathing Corpses, begins previews at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs, where it opens on 28th February and runs till 26th March.

The cast for Colder Than Here will be Margot Leicester, Michael Pennington, Georgia Mackenzie and Anna Madeley, and it will be directed by Abigail Morris. In Breathing Corpses are Paul Copley, Niamh Cusack, Laura Elphinstone, Rupert Evans, James McAvoy, Tamzin Outhwaite and Ryan Pope. The play is directed by Anna Mackmin.

Festen Extends
The Almeida's production of Festen at the Lyric has extended by one week to 9th April, after which it is expected to transfer to Broadway. There are also major cast changes: the new cast will consist of Paul Nicholls (Christian), Carol Royle (Else), William Beck (Michael), Susannah Wise (Mette), Morven Christie (Pia), Jason Baughan (Kim), and, from the original cast, Sam Beazley (Grandfather), Sam Cox (Poul), Andrew Maud (Lars), Stephen Moore (Helge), Patrick Robinson (Gbatokai), Claire Rushbrook (Helene), Michael Thomas (Helmut).

Meanwhile The Woman in Black (Fortune) has extended to 3rd September and Blood Brothers (Phoenix) to 29th October.

Patsy Palmer
Palmer Stepping Out on Tour
Patsy Palmer is to star in a new touring production of Richard Harris' Stepping Out, which opens at the Theatre Royal, Windsor, on 25th February before moving on to Coventry, Richmond, Westcliff, Cardiff, Belfast, Leeds, Cheltenham, Nottingham, Mold, Stoke-on-Trent and Malvern.

A Bill Kenwright production, it is directed by Martin Connor.

Richard Bremmer
Dracula Premieres at Bromley
Richard Bremmer (Dracula) and Christopher Cazenove (Van Helsing) are to co-star in Bryony Lavery's new version of Bram Stoker's Dracula, directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, which premieres at Bromley's Churchill Theatre on 27th January. Also in the cast is Hywel Simons as Dr Seward.

It will then tour to Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Marlowe, Darlington, Poole, Richmond, Cambridge and Cheltenham, prior to a West End tranfer.

The production is said to be unsuitable for under-14s.

Osbourne in Revived Monologues
Sharon Osbourne, wife of heavy metal star Ozzie Osbourne, is to star in a revival of The Vagina Monologues at Wyndham's on 7th April (previews from 4th; booking to 14th May).
