Donmar Casting
Casting for the Donmar Warehouse's autumn season has been announced.

Kim Cattrall stars in David Mamet's The Cryptogram, which runs from 12th October to 24th November. Then from 30th November to 10th February Rhys Ifans plays Don Juan in Patrick Marber's Don Juan in Soho, a new version of Molière's play which will be directed by Michael Grandage.

Finally Penelope Wilton will play Ella Rentheim opposite Ian McDiarmid in David Eldridge's version of Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman (15 February to 14 April).

No other casting has been announced.

The 39 Steps
A stage version of John Buchan's adventure novel The 39 Steps is to play at Kilburn's Tricycle Theatre from 14th August (previews from 10th) to 9th September.

The play will be directed by Maria Aitken and the cast, which consists of Catherine McCormack, Rupert Degas, Charles Edwards and Simon Gregor, play 150 parts between them.

Showstopper at Jermyn Street
Showstopper, Dan Rebellato’s one-women play about the golden age of Hollywood, will have short run at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 8th to 13th August. It will star Rebecca Thornhill as English actress and singer Carole James.

Slava's Snowshow to Tour
Clown Slava Polunin's show Slava's Snowshow is to have a short UK tour this autumn. Opening at Milton Keyne's on 30th September, it goes on to the New Wimbledon Theatre, then Stoke-on-Trent, Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Woking, Birmingham and Bath.

Cumming Confirmed in Bent
Alan Cumming has been confirmed as taking the lead in the revival of Martin Sherman's Bent at the Trafalgar Studios in October. he will be joined in the cast by Richard Bremmer, Ricky Champ, Charles Mayer, Matthew Spencer, Laurence Spellman, Hugh Ross, Kevin Trainor and Benjamin Wilkin.

Extending/Closing
Dirty Dancing, which doesn't open until the end of September, has now extemded to 20th October, 2007, and Evita has extended to 13th January. Finally, it has been confirmed that The Rat Pack (Savoy) will close on 23rd September.
