Northern Stage announces new co-production
Northern Stage has annonced it is co-produce a stage version of Richard
Milward's debut novel Apples, set on a Middlesbrough council
estate, with Company of Angels. It will be adapted for the stage and
directed by John Retallack and will play first in Middlesbrough in June
and then at Northern Stage in September. There willalso be a national
tour.

- Family show Phileas P. Souper is at Northern Stage on Friday
and Saturday
- Live Theatre presents a rehearsed reading of the latest play by
Shelagh Stephenson, A Northern Odyssey, on Thursday
- Never Forget, the musical based on the songs of Take That,
is at the Journal Live Thetare from Tuesday to Saturday
- The Machine Gunners
continues at the Customs House, South Shields, until Saturday
- ACE Dance & Music present Switch / Listen
at Alnwick Playhouse on Wednesday
- Morecambe is at
Durham's Gala Theatre on Tuesday (This production is sold out)
- Class of '76 is at the Arc, Stockton, on Wednesday
- Horrible Science is at Darlington Civic from Tuesday to Saturday
- An Arresting Night with Cooper & Walsh, an impro show
from the two Last of the Summer Wine policemen Ken Kitson and Louis
Emerick, is at the Georgian Theatre, Richmond, on Saturday
