Dancing the World in the NE

From 2nd to 24th May Dance City, the National Dance Agency for the NE in association with culture10, part of the NewcastleGateshead Initiative, will present Dancing the World '08, the largest dance festival ever seen in the region, with performances, workshops and talks in a variety of venues.

There will be performances at Dance City itself, Northern Stage and the Theatre Royal, as well as site-specific pieces in Berwick and Castle Morpeth.

Festival highlights include: Rennie Harris Puremovement (USA); Phoenix Dance Theatre (UK); Kim Itoh and The Glorious Future (Japan) featured in East Wind'08; DV8 (UK); Probe (UK) and Bonachela Dance Company (UK).
