Autumn/Winter at the Gala
Durham's Gala Theatre has announced its autumn/winter programme, only
a small part of which covers theatre. Drama productions between September
and January are:

Local company Jack Drum Arts recreate the story of the building of
Causey Arch, the world's oldest stone-built railway bridge.

Customs House to Host Takeoff
2003
South Shields' Customs House is to host the tenth Takeoff Festival of
professional theatre for children and young people from 12th to 15th
October. Consisting of eighteen productions which will be performed
in the Customs House main house, studio, gallery and rehearsal/meeting
room Dalton 5, and in schools, the Festival is organised by CTC Theatre,
based at the Darlington Arts Centre.
