News From the NTS After a successful return to St Ann's Warehouse New York, the National Theatre of Scotland's production of Black Watch's run has been extended for another three weeks. Originally the production was to end on 30th November but after a number of sell-out shows it will continue until 21st December. Also in New York, Edinburgh Fringe hit Architecting, a co-production with the Team, has been invited to appear at the Under the Radar Festival from 9th to 18th January 2009. The production will then transfer to PS 122, also in New York for a subsequent run from 22nd January to 15th March. The world premiere of Dolls, adapted from the film by Takeshi Kitano with permission of Office Kitano Inc; a National Theatre of Scotland Workshop and Hush co- production in association with Tramway, is to play at the Tramway in Glasgow from 28th January to 31st January 2009. Jimmy Chisolm and Benny Young have joined Blythe Duff, Kathryn Howden, Richard Madden, Helen Mallon, Ian McDiarmid, David McGranaghan, Colette O'Neil, Benny Young and Jimmy Yuill in the National Theatre of Scotland and Donmar Warehouse's production of Be Near Me, which opens at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock on 16th January (14th to 17th January) and at the Donmar Warehouse on 26th January (22nd January to 14th March) and then tours the UK. The production will tour to the Citizens' Theatre, Glasgow (25th March to 4th April), Eden Court Theatre, Inverness (7th to 11th April), Traverse Theatre (15th to 18th April), Perth Theatre (21st to 25th April), Lowry, Salford (29th April to 2nd May), Curve, Leicester (5th to 9th May) and Hall for Cornwall, Truro (12th to 16th May).
