NTS Brings The Wicker Man to the Stage Cult movie classic The Wicker Man is to be brought to the stage by the National Theatre of Scotland in the form of a new peice of music theatre. Written by Greg Hemphill and Donald McLeary and directed by Vicky Featherstone, An Appointment with The Wicker Man will tour in February and March 2012. On a distant and remote Scottish island, the Loch Parry Theatre Players mount a production of The Wicker Man. When their lead actor goes missing in mysterious circumstances, they call on the services of a television cop from the mainland to step in and save their production... An Appointment with The Wicker Man is billed as "an all-singing-and-dancing love letter to a unique and timeless cult masterpiece" and it will tour to His Majestys Theatre, Aberdeen (21 to 25 February 2012), Theatre Royal Glasgow (28 February to 3 March 2012), Eden Court, Inverness (6 to 10 March 2012) and The Alhambra, Dunfermline (21 to 24 March 2012). In other NTS news:
