Dateline: 14th March, 2005 NToS Building Delay Work on the complex which is to contain the offices of the new National Theatre of Scotland is six months behind schedule, and thet delay could increase. The £9m "campus" in Easterhouse, one of Glasgow's poorest areas, is to contain an arts centre and swinning pool. "The delays are due to the complexity of the design and related site constraints, unforeseen site service difficulties, and issues the project manager needs to address with the design teams and the site contractor," a city council official told The Scotsman. The completion date is now being re-assessed: with the project now half-competed, if there are no more delays it will be finished in the autumn.
