Dateline: 16th January, 2005 Tron Director Moves to NToS The director of Glasgow's Tron, Neil Murray, is to join the National Theatre of Scotland as executive director. Murray, who joined the Tron as administrative director in 1996 and became director and artistic producer in 2002, has a high reputation in Scotland and his appointment was welcomed by Scotsman theatre critic Joyce McMillan who called it "an absolutely formidable choice" and she went on to describe him as "really talented". He worked with the Edinburgh International Festival to produce David Greig's San Diego in 2003 and again in 2004, with Anthony Neilson's The Wonderful World of Dissocia. He joins Vicky Featherstone, formerly of Paines Plough, who was recently appointed as the organisation's artistic director. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
