Q & A with Anthony Minghella

Anthony Minghella, one of Britain's most respected writers and directors and head of the British Film Institute, will be giving a Q & A on 10th June at the King's Head Theatre in Islington, following that evening's double bill of his two plays

Cigarettes and Chocolate and Hangup
Run from 8th June to 18th July at the King's Head, Islington.

Directed by Tom Edmunds and starring Alice Patten, Susie Porter, Katherine Parkinson, Tim Steed, Doug Rao, Alex Humes, Clara Perez

Cigarettes & Chocolate - frustrated by the dislocated society she feels complicit in, Gemma has retreated into silence. An affair, a pregnancy, Bach and a bag lady. This is a play about protest, passion and the futility of personal revelations that spill out in the claustrophobic comfort of a North London flat

Hangup is a telephone conversation. A hauntingly beautiful study of a love affair in its final chapter
