QMUC Summer Rep Queen Margaret University College third year drama students will be presenting their final productions at Edinburgh's Gateway Theatre from 27th April to 11th May. Summer Rep, The Gateway Theatre's mini festival kicks off on the 27 April, with plays spanning writers as diverse as Steven Belber, Steven Berkoff, Sarah Kane, Edward Albee and Isabel Wright. To enable audiences to see as many of the plays as possible in Summer Rep, the performances have been split over two weeks. From the 27th to the 30th of April there are Tape by Steven Belber and East and Kvetch by Steven Berkoff, while from the 7th to the 11th of May (excluding the 8th) the plays are Blasted by Sarah Kane, American Dream by Edward Albee and Waiting Room by Isabel Wright. Directed by 4th year Drama and Theatre Arts students, designed and produced by the 3rd year Stage Management and Theatre Production students and performed by the 3rd Year Acting Company, Summer Rep brings together the talent, energy and creativity at the very heart of Queen Margaret University College's School of Drama and Creative Industries. Tickets are £6 and £4 concession and are available now from the box office on 0131 317 3939. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 12 noon to 2pm.
