£5 Tickets at the National

The National Theatre has announced a new scheme for 15 to 19 year olds, Entry Pass, which, it says, "exists to encourage the next generation of audience members and future theatre practitioners to get involved in the National Theatre's programme, and to take advantage of all the extra resources that the NT has to offer. As a member, you can buy tickets to shows in the National's three auditoriums for only £5."

But it doesn't stop there. Part of the scheme is Mates' Rates: up to two friends of Entry Pass holders can get tickets for the same performance for £7.50 .

Entry Pass is free to apply for and application forms can be obtained from the National's foyer or from the new Entry Pass website.

The website also includes Blogs by National Theatre staff and a discussion board. The website is available to all until the end of April, after which it will be for Entry Pass members only.
