Dateline: 14th November, 2003 Some RSC for the West End After All Gregory Doran's RSC productions of The Taming of the Shrew and The Tamer Tamed will, after all, make it to London in the new year after producer Bill Kenwright agreed to back an eight week season at the Queen's, opening on 12th January. It was Kenwright who, with Thelma Holt, backed the London RSC Jacobean season earlier this year and who will also back the All's Well That Ends Well (starring Judi Dench) transfer. Earlier this week Michael Boyd was called before the London Assembly's Culture, Sport and Tourism committee to explain why the company had left the Barbican, and told them that, with the benefit of hindight, "We would not have left the Barbican in that way." Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
