SATTF's 12th Season Bristol's Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory has announced the programme for the 2011 season, its twelflth. The first production, from 10th February to 19th March, will be Richard II, and it will be followed by The Comedy of Errors from 24th March to 30th April. Both plays will be directed by Andrew Hilton and designed by Harriet De Winton. Since it began, SATTF has produced twenty Shakespeare plays, two by Chekhov, one Molière and a Jacobean tragedy. Its first season comprised A Midsummer Night's Dream and King Lear and, the following year, it won the Empty Space... Peter Brook Award. In 2004 it was invited to take Macbeth and The Changeling to the Barbican for a five-week repertory season and in 2009 it co-produced Uncla Vanya with the Bristol Old Vic.
