Summer in Scarborough Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre has announced its season from May to August. Its main feature is a season of "The Things That Go Bump" - three plays about the ghosts that lurk in the dark corners of all our minds. They are written by Alan Ayckbourn and directed by Ayckbourn and Richard Derrington and use the same company: Susie Blake, Ruth Gibson, Liza Giddard, Ian Hogg, Adrian McLoughlin and Richard Stacey.
The season will tour to the New Vic, Newcastle-under-Lyme from 3rd to 20th September. There will be two lunchtime shows, under the title Smoking Gun:
Both are performed in the restaurant at 1.10, although there will be some double bills in the McCarthy.
