New Experimental Festival for London
SPILL, a new festival of performance, live art and experimental theatre,
opens in London in April for twenty days (2nd to 22nd). The festival
will include 52 performances, a two day symposium, a participatory exhibition
and three feasts which, for £10, will provide food and an opportunity
for audience members to converse with artists from the SPILL programme
in a relaxed manner.
Taking part are:
- Brazilian Andre Masseno with Im Not Here or The Dying Swan
- Eve Bonneau (Belgium) with Body is the first word

- Britain's Forced Entertainment with And On The Thousandth Night
and Exquisite Pain
- Françoise Berlanger (Belgium) with Penthesilea
- Traci Kelly and Richard Hancock (UK) with Tattoo
- Julia Bardsley (UK) with Trans: Acts
- Kira O'Reilly (UK) with Untitled, a SPILL commission
- The Pacitti Company (UK) with Three Duets, Grande Finale
and Civil
- Raimund Hoghe (Germany) with Sacré The Rites of
Spring
- Sheila Ghelani (UK) with Covet me, Care for me
- Unreasonable Adults (Australia) with The Last To See Them Alive
No venue, date or time details for individual performances have yet
been announced. They promised during January.
