TAG and You?

In 2007 TAG Theatre Company will be celebrating a remarkable 40 years in Scottish theatre. We will be holding a series of events to commemorate this achievement. Over the years, TAG has reached every region in Scotland with its theatre tours, participatory projects and educational activities and has had the pleasure of working with a vast number of individuals and organisations.

In the run up to the 40th anniversary, TAG is hoping to hear from anyone who has memories of the company. We are keen to hear from anyone with anecdotes or stories, reminiscences of plays or participatory projects. This can be anything from your views on the company, the feelings you recall or the impact TAG projects may have had on you.

We are interested in responses which can be as long or a short as you want.

  • Have you worked with the company (in any capacity)? Would you be willing to write a few sentences about the project(s) you worked on, your opinion of the company and/or your experiences?
  • Did TAG come to your school? What are your memories of this?
  • Did a TAG show spark an interest in theatre that inspired a career path or continued interest?

Please send any information to helen.black@tag-theatre.co.uk. This could be just a couple of quotes, a essay (!) or even just a note to say that you’d be happy to talk further to someone from TAG. If you know of anyone else (whether working in the arts or not) who may have encountered TAG, please pass this email on to them.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes,

Helen Black
