More US Stars on London Stage Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum is to join Kevin Spacey in the Old Vic revival of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow in February. Directed by Matthew Warchus, the production will also star Laure Michelle Kelly. "I am pleased to welcome my friend and a great actor Jeff Goldblum to the Old Vic," Spacey said." I know we are both very excited about discovering this challenging Mamet work with Matthew and Laura. I have always wanted to work with Jeff and I couldnt be happier that it will be in this great play." And according to the Daily Mail another US star, Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth is finalising arrangements to appear in the English National Opera production of Bernstein's Candide which will run for thirteen performances from 23rd June. She will, the paper reports, play Cunegonde opposite British tenor Toby Spence. She has already played the part in a concert version at New York's Lincoln Center in 2005.
