The tour has grossed over £14m since opening in London on 22nd July last year. It sold out its two-week runs at the New Victoria Woking, the Milton Keynes Theatre, the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff and Sheffield Lyceum, and is the most successful show ever staged at the Leeds Grand Theatre. It is the highest grossing two-week musical ever staged at the New Victoria Woking, Milton Keynes Theatre and Newcastle Theatre Royal. Based on audience and sales figures it is also the most successful musical ever staged at the New Wimbledon Theatre and one of the top three most successful shows ever staged at Edinburgh Festival Theatre. Currently playing at the Bristol Hippodrome, it returns next week to the MIlton Keynes Theatre and ends its run on 25th July with a return visit to The Lowry, Salford.
