The Bath Shakespeare Festival has announced a unique opportunity to spend a weekend learning from and working with a diverse range of Shakespeare professionals from around the world: the Bath Shakespeare Festival Masterclass Weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March, from 10 am to 5 pm.

The BSF Masterclass weekend will offer fifty selected applicants the chance to spend two days exploring different approaches to Shakespeare performance through a series of practical workshops. In addition, those practitioners and others will lead talks and discussions on their experiences of working with Shakespeare's plays.

Over two days, each participant will take part in six one hour practical workshops and four lectures. As well there will be opportunities for discussion of what's going on, and of course a chance to see some of the performances which will be going on as part of the Bath Shakespeare Festival.

The masterclass leaders come from an wide range of theatrical backgrounds and experiences. Some are involved with productions which are part of the festival, others will be in Bath just to be part of these masterclasses.
