Leeds Looks for Youngsters

The West Yorkshire Playhouse is looking for two boys to play Wendy's brothers in their Christmas production of Peter Pan.

Auditions will be held to find four boys to take on the parts of Wendy’s younger brothers Michael and John. Michael’s playing age is 7, and the role will include singing solo, acting and also flying, John’s playing age is 14, and candidates should be able to sing with a broken voice and to act.

The auditions will be held at West Yorkshire Playhouse on Saturday 27 September, from 12pm for Michael and from 3pm for John. Candidates will need to prepare a song and bring the piano music along to the audition.

Anyone interested in auditioning should call the West Yorkshire Playhouse Box Office on 0113 213 7700 by Wednesday 24th September to book an audition time. You will need to give a contact name, number, address and preferably an e-mail address.

Peter Pan, which is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, runs from 22nd November to31st January.
