A View From The Bridge

Stephen Unwin is to direct a new touring production of Arthur Miller's classic A View From The Bridge for the Touring Consortium Theatre Company.

This gripping and passionate drama features Jonathan Guy Lewis as Eddie Carbone. His television credits include Soldier, Soldier, London’s Burning, Coronation Street, Silent Witness and Heartbeat.

Lewis is also a writer and director; most recently his one-man show I Found My Horn toured nationally, played the Hampstead Theatre and transferred to the Trafalgar Studios in London's West End.

On stage with Lewis is Michael Brandon as Alfieri. Brandon is best known as Dempsey in cult TV series Dempsey and Makepeace but he has also appeared in Doctor Who, The Contaminated Man and Dennis Potter’s Visitors.

On stage Brandon has been Olivier Award–nominated for Jerry Springer the Opera. He has also appeared in, amongst others, Stephen Berkoff’s On the Waterfront and Speed the Plow.

A View From The Bridge tours from March calling at:

  • Nottingham Theatre Royal
  • Cheltenham Everyman Theatre
  • Darlington Civic Theatre
  • Bradford Alhambra Theatre
  • Coventry Belgrade Theatre
  • Edinburgh King's Theatre
