The Actors Company at Jermyn Street
The Actors Company, a repertory company of forty-two actors,
will present three new productions in their annual season at Jermyn
Street Theatre. The plays will be set in the 1940s and examine the effects
of war on society.
The Trojan Women by Euripides (Translated by Neil Curry)

Preview Monday 27th Sept. Opening night: Wednesday 29th Sept at 7.30pm
Set in a refugee camp in with a cast of fourteen, this intimate production
examines the personal effects of war on a small group of women. Edmund
Joliffs original score will reflect the mood of the time with
a Mediterranean tone. Diana Hilliers recent directing credits
include The Diary of Anne Frank at the Palace Theatre, Watford
and Travel Club and Boy Soldier by Wole Soyinka at RNT
Studio.

War II to celebrate in the garden of an English country house. Here
The Watch becomes the Home Guard, and will be played entirely by women.

Baby Sitter by René de Obaldia and Peter Barness
Leonardos Last Supper at the Open Air Theatre, Regents
Park.

season David directed a highly successful production of Terence Rattigans
Flare Path. MD Paul Harvards recent credits include The

include Jus Like That and The Beautiful and the Damned.
